Artist Bio
The electronic music is constantly changing. Breaking the rules every 33 revolutions per minute at the latest. Had the press just been dominated by minimal beats, now escalation is back on the dance floor. Who can overview all of this? This can only be done by someone who is tuned to the same wavelength. One that exudes Cuba Libre, someone that wakes up hugging his synthesizer. A charming emcee, which also enjoys being in the limelight. This someone is Marc Deal aka DIRTY DEAL.
Born in Johannesburg South Africa and raised in Germany. As a young boy he was inspired by Elvis and Michael Jackson then matured through Hip Hop, Breakdance and then went to Industrial Techno. What began at the delicate age of 13 years with a simple audio cassette led him in 1991 to the Love Parade, creating him to a global party animal and finally this opened the studio doors of Oliver Huntemann, Stefan Bodzin, DIM and Moonbootica. Academic tents were broken off he found many allies and detected his musical identity. Well-known stations such as MTV, 25 Records as content or product manager showing him the serious side of the business, but the music cried louder than sanity. Together with Electro Ferris (Ferris MC) as the duo maniax they released three respected high 12's on the label Dance Electric and Moonbootique. Marc Deal sang live on both albums for Moonbootica and various projects.
DIRTY DEAL productions are created together with his since many years friend Tobitob Their track’s were released on labels such as Gigolo Rec, Jón Jónsson, Spin Out or VIM Records.
Marc Deal is a man who lives and loves electronically while putting sounds that are coarse and filigree in an emotional drama together with his heart he moves the crowd on the dance floor. DIRTY DEAL sets are a melting pot of house, tech house and techno becoming boiling hot lava. Ecstatic, but always tasteful. A world full of long nights, long drinks and long legs.
